The Problem
The internet takes itself too seriously. Wrecked.site provides a creative outlet for web development skills applied to comedy, with a shareable format designed for viral distribution.
Wrecked.site is a web app where users pick a famous website and a ridiculous theme, and get served a lovingly crafted parody version. The site's layout and UX patterns are faithfully recreated, but every element is reimagined through the chosen theme with absurd animations, sound effects, anti-UX gags, and visual chaos.
The concept features 30 themes (Pirate, Medieval, Zombie Apocalypse, Japanese Game Show, etc.) and 30 famous sites (Google, LinkedIn, Amazon, etc.), each with carefully paired "perfect match" combinations designed for maximum comedic contrast. Google becomes a conspiracy board. LinkedIn becomes a wrestling entrance ramp. gov.uk gets the Bollywood treatment.
This is not a screenshot filter — each combination is a standalone interactive page built to be genuinely funny, shareable, and technically impressive in how thoroughly it commits to the bit.
